The Fusion is designed as a mid-aspect ratio design to give smooth power delivery in a wide variety of conditions. The partially sealed design means it takes a few seconds to fully pressurise on launch; but once at optimum internal pressure the Fusion will deal with gusts, lulls, downwind turns, or turbulent air with ease. During testing it was flown through the wind shadow of trees that caused collapses in other kites without any ill effect. It is ideal for use in thermic conditions or when the wind is inconsistent.

The low drag characteristics of the Fusion give it a wide window of use and make it ideal for progessing upwind on skis, buggies and boards of all kinds.

The airfoil section of the Fusion is specially selected for speed and traction power, rather than lift. This means it has a very wide useful wind range, and can be "parked" with little power at the zenith of the window.
